Based in the heart of Hollywood, VMI Worldwide is a worldwide distribution, film finance, and production company founded in 2010 by Andre Relis. Since its inception, VMI has represented an extensive variety of cast-driven titles, including pictures starring Vince Vaughn, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jon Hamm, John Malkovich, Nicolas Cage, Liam Hemsworth, Emilie Hirsch, Jesse Eisenberg, Wesley Snipes, Aaron Paul, Sean Bean, Dolph Lundgren, Melissa Leo, Mena Suvari, Juliette Lewis, Chloë Sevigny, Willem Dafoe, Minnie Driver, Michael Shannon, Abigail Breslin, Jackie Chan, and many other actors with both domestic and foreign value.
VMI Productions started off with BLOOD OF REDEMPTION, starring Dolph Lundgren and Vinnie Jones (2012), and WICKED BLOOD, starring Sean Bean, Abigail Breslin, and James Purefoy (2014), which were both distributed and co-produced by Entertainment One in North America. VMI’s third film, WAR PIGS, starring Mickey Rourke and Luke Goss (2015), was released theatrically by Cinedigm in the US as part of a multi-picture output deal with Cinedigm for North American distribution for in-house productions.
As a result of this evolution, VMI possesses the ability and desire to board the right project, at any stage of development, and is capable of attaching cast and/or financing as well as finding the right distribution partners for a film. VMI seeks to establish long-term working relationships with its production partners.
In 2015, VMI launched a six-picture slate deal with Canadian production company Minds Eye Entertainment which has released the following titles: THE RECALL (2016), starring Wesley Snipes and RJ Mitte, THE HUMANITY BUREAU (2017), starring Nicolas Cage, and DAUGHTER OF THE WOLF (2018), starring Gina Carano and Richard Dreyfuss.
Recent VMI co-productions include the upcoming DARKNESS OF MAN, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, COME OUT FIGHTING, starring Tyrese Gibson and Kellan Lutz, THE PRICE WE PAY, starring Emile Hirsch and Stephen Dorff, THE LAST SON, starring Machine Gun Kelly and Sam Worthington, WANDER, starring Aaron Eckhart and Tommy Lee Jones, ARKANSAS, starring Vince Vaughn, Liam Hemsworth, and John Malkovich, GRAND ISLE, starring Nicolas Cage and Kelsey Grammer, and WAKE UP, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Francesca Eastwood.
VMI’s Music Media Division, Vision Music, Inc, produced and released RANDY RHOADS: REFLECTIONS OF A GUITAR ICON, Ozzy Osbourne’s and Quiet Riots’ legendary guitarist. VMI produced the feature documentary NWA & EAZY E-KINGS OF COMPTON about the seminal rap group. Vision Music represents a wide selection of music documentaries on music’s biggest legends as well as such award-winning feature documentaries such as STEVEN TYLER: OUT ON A LIMB, the biography of the lead singer from the hit group Aerosmith, LEMMY (the story of Motorhead lead singer), and many, many more.
